An exploration of the courtyard, nestled at the very heart of the project and revealed from every corner. Its versatility became an invitation to experiment, leading us through multiple iterations, moods, and possibilities for a space that could constantly transform with its surroundings.

Serpentine court: A space where the deck weaves gently, forming intimate niches for sculptures, quiet seating, and a swing that invites pause. The landscape is densely planted, layered and immersive, with canopy, understory, and ground cover coming together to create depth and enclosure, holding the experience within nature. Water flows through the court in a series of stone bowls at varying levels, cascading from one to another. A continuous and subtle movement brings sound, motion, and a calm grounding presence to the space.

Winding terrace for the unwind : A generous, flowing terrace that invites movement and exploration, creating intimate niches for quiet reading, sunrise coffees, evening swings, and an occasional dip. More intimate in nature, it becomes a private family retreat shaped around the everyday rhythm of unwinding.

A shallow pool designed for multiple experiences. At times, it invites you to dip your feet or sit by the water. When drained, it transforms into a pebbled court, allowing the space to shift effortlessly with its use.

A dancing floor: A terrace imagined for hosting and unwinding with family and friends. The floor takes centre stage, framed by dry Zen gardens and sculpted benches. A larger Zen court houses a pizza dome for intimate gatherings, while a central void holds woven beds for lounging. Sculptural planting in oversized pots completes the crafted character of the space.

The house seen from the outside, as the landscape slowly takes over the built form, softening its edges and weaving nature into the architecture.

Sky farm: A terrace imagined as a layered patchwork of produce, with pockets of cultivation woven around intimate seating spaces. Blurring the line between growing and gathering, it becomes an experimental family garden where hands meet soil and every harvest becomes a small celebration.

A raised deck enveloped by planting on all sides, creating an intimate retreat to sit, unwind, and enjoy movies under the open sky.
